Elise was setting up as a freelance dance practitioner and needed a corporate identity and website to help her on her way. Through initial discovery workshops I was able to identify how she wanted to position herself within the industry and work from there to create a logo, colour scheme, typography and image treatment that could then be incorporated in to a new fully responsive website.
The new identity stems from the icosahedron, a twenty sided shape used to describe the movement possibilities of a body in space. The 21 points of the shape represent the many possibilities and shapes that a body and create. Elise spends a lot of her time setting up dance projects and creating opportunities for people to dance who otherwise would not be able to do the symbolism of the shape seems apt.
The finished project includes a full corporate identity and a set of guiding principles for future marketing materials to follow to ensure a cohesive brand experience. The website is built in WordPress so Elise can easily update her own classes and workshops and also add to her blog.
The website and identity is fresh and modern and sets Elise Phillips Dance aside from other dance companies whilst also clearly communicating her offering and building a foundation from which the business can grow.
